Welcome to Dublin
Located in the Tri Valley area east of San Francisco, Dublin’s “crossroads” location at the intersection of Interstates 580 and 680 makes the city freeway close and conveniently accessible to the Bay Area.
Dublin has a mild climate and a positive attitude toward commercial, industrial and residential growth. The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) provides transit service from Dublin to the San Francisco area.
Incorporated as a city in 1982, Dublin has its’ deep roots in the history of California. Building first began in 1834 when Jose Maria Amador established his Rancho. In the 1850’s settlers arrived and established homesteads, stores, a church and schoolhouse (both still standing). In the 1960’s rapid residential and commercial growth began, resulting in the city that exists today.
Dublin, because of easy freeway access, has attracted a large number of businesses and presents an ideal opportunity for businesses to position themselves for rapid growth in the near future. With extensive amounts of commercial space, tremendous opportunities exist in Dublin for both small and large enterprises. |
